Sylvan Hills went 3-2 in the Benton Panther 7-on-Invitational last week.
It was junior Tyler Yeoman, who impressed Coach Jim Withrow the most.
Yeoman was expected to play at linebacker but, instead, ran at quarterback for the tournament.
“Yeoman played well considering the situation he was put in, but he’s just a good athlete.” Withrow said.
Anotehr good looking player, Withrow said, was sophomore receiver Jamar Lane.
“He is really impressing me” Withrow said.
The Bears have two more camps, at Malvern on July 9 and Robinson on July 14, before going into the AAA’s Dead Period.
