Brent Copeland of Cabot said he was backing out of his work van at 200 Big Indian Drive when he struck a parked vehicle located on the south side of Big Indian, causing the 2013 Chevrolet van $200 of damage.

Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Kiehl Avenue and Arkansas 107 in reference to a two-vehicle accident involving Cameron Mosley of North Little Rock and Brenda Goss of Searcy. Mosley said she was driving her Saturn northbound on Arkansas 107 in the inside lane and wasn’t paying attention to the Toyota stopped in front of her. Mosley said she hit the Toyota from behind and both vehicles sustained $600 of damage. Goss said she was on Arkansas 107 stopped at a traffic light at Kiehl when she was struck from behind. Mosley was found at fault for careless and prohibited driving.

Alexandria Johnson of North Little Rock said her Chevrolet Monte Carlo veered off into a ditch on Kellogg Acres Road between Oakdale and Miller roads, resulting in $800 of damage. Johnson said she was traveling southbound on Kellogg Acres when she failed to property negotiate a left curve in the road, causing her vehicle to exit the roadway.

Arrests

May 27

Stephen Zahari, 20, of Sherwood was arrested on a charge of third-degree domestic battery after police responded to an unknown trouble at T-Ricks on Arkansas 107.

Dekia Murphy, 23, of North Little Rock was arrested on a charge of shoplifting after police responded to a report of a shoplifter at the Wal-Mart Supercenter on Arkansas 107.
