Officers were dispatched to Kohl’s parking lot for a private property accident. Upon arrival, contact was made with Mary Hatfield of Jacksonville and Cheryl Fraser of Sherwood. Neither party was injured.
Fraser was driving a Chevrolet Silverado and said she was pulling into a parking space when the front right bumper of her vehicle struck a Hatfield’s white Nissan Altima in the left rear area of the parking space next to her. Hatfield’s vehicle sustained $1,000 of damage while Fraser’s vehicle had $250 of damage. Hatfield said she was in Kohl’s and heard a page over the intercom for someone driving a white Nissan Altima. She went outside and found her 2014 model had been struck in the left rear quarter panel and bumper area.
Hatfield said the car belongs to her sister, Cheryl Bolin, of Jacksonville and that her sister just bought the vehicle within the past week and it had not yet been registered.
Officers were dispatched to Sam’s Club in reference to a private property incident. Upon arrival, officers spoke with Elsa Osorio of North Little Rock who said she was putting items in her car when the door of the truck parked next to her opened, causing $100 of damage to her Toyota Camry. Osorio said the door opened and collided with the right front area above the tire.
The man, Billy Woods, of Sherwood, gave Osorio his insurance information and left the scene.
Preston Wiggington, 44, of Sherwood was arrested on a charge of third-degree domestic battery after police were called to his home at 711 Cherrie Road in reference to a physical disturbance that had already occurred.
Brandon Vocque, 29, of Sherwood was arrested on a charge of public intoxication after police were dispatched to 8209 E. Woodview Drive concerning an individual later identified as Vocque banging on the front door repeatedly and refusing to leave.
Christopher Savoy, 32, of Sherwood was arrested on charges of careless/prohibited driving, no seat belt, Driving While Intoxicated, refusal to submit to a field sobriety test, and three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. The arrest came after police observed his vehicle swerving to the right curb on Shelby Drive.
Ashley Horne, 27, of North Little Rock was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. During the same incident, Timothy Wilson of North Little Rock was arrested on a charge of driving with a suspended license. The arrests came after police were called to Kohl’s on Warden Road because loss prevention officers summoned them.
Gailisa Bryant, 35, of Sherwood was arrested on charges of DWI (drugs), driving with a suspended license, and careless/prohibited driving after police observed someone driving an Impala westbound on Kiehl Avenue who had stopped at the intersection of Brockington Road.
Cleveland Mattherne, 47, of Sherwood, listed on the police report as homeless, was arrested on a charge of loitering. He was loitering on the west edge of the Links Apartments on Kiehl Avenue.
