Sherwood police beat



Jan. 10

Asia Fletcher, 18, of Sherwood, was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance with the purpose to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia. During the same incident, George Ray, 18, of Sherwood was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. The arrests came as officers were investigating the report of a burglary at 3490 E. Kiehl Ave., Apt. 9003.

James E. Brown, 56, of Little Rock, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication after police were dispatched to 611 Country Club Road in reference to a man in the driveway who was intoxicated.

Barbara Parsons, 55, of Sherwood, was arrested on charges of public intoxication, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after police responded to 406 Taylor Road in reference to an intoxicated person leaving the home, returning, and causing a disturbance.

Randy Simpson, 57, of Sherwood, was arrested on charges of theft of property and fleeing after police observed a man hanging out between two daycare vans at Dream Daycare.

Rebecca Fuentez, 38, of Jacksonville, was arrested on a charge of obstructing government operations and cited for driving with a suspended license after police were in the area of Trammel and Roundtop roads and observed a red truck in a ditch.

Jan. 11

Samuel Cortez, 29, of North Little Rock, was arrested on charges of DUI, refusal to submit to a field sobriety test, possession of marijuana, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, driving left of center, failure to register vehicle, driving on a suspended license, and no proof of insurance. The arrest came after police went to assist another officer in reference to a traffic stop at the Big Red Fina Gas Station on East Kiehl Avenue.

Sophia Scott, 24, of Sherwood, was arrested on a charge of DWI and cited for no headlights after police made a traffic stop on Warden Road at River City RV because the vehicle was not using its headlights.

Cynthia Keeling, 44, of North Little Rock, was arrested on charges of shoplifting and obstructing governmental operations after police responded to a report of a shoplifter at Kohl’s Department Store on Warden Road.
