Oct. 12

Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Wooded Acres and Oakbrooke drives in reference to a two-vehicle accident. Upon arrival, police made contact with Demetrius Pighee of Sherwood who stated that he was at a complete stop behind another vehicle driven by Camarillo Ruben of Sherwood. Pighee said that a Dodge pickup was proceeding through the intersection and it rolled back due to the incline of the road. Pighee’s Mazda Tribute sustained $500 of damage. Police were unable to determine the fault of the accident.

Officers responded to 8825 Trail Creek in reference to an accident with no injuries. Upon arrival, Wilson Wallace of Sherwood said his parked 2013 Toyota Tacoma was struck by a concrete pump truck, resulting in $200 of damage.

Juan Rodriguez of Sherwood said he had parked his Nissan ATL at his home, 72 Cinnamon St., when someone caused $1,500 of damage to the passenger side.

Arrests

Oct. 11

Tonya Brewer, 42, of North Little Rock was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, criminal trespass, public intoxication and disorderly conduct. During the same incident, Jerry Clay, 59, of Little Rock was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. The arrests resulted after police responded to 821 Trammel Road in reference to a trespassing report.

Aaron Bradshaw, 33, of Sherwood was arrested on charges of reckless driving fleeing in a motor vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia with the use of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia with use of methamphetamine. The arrest came after police were called to the scene of a hit-and-run accident that occurred on Brookswood Drive.

Oct. 14

Olivia Burnett, 26, of Little Rock was arrested on charges of DWI, crossing the fog line, no proof of insurance, failure to pay registration fees and reckless driving after the police observed him headed northbound on Arkansas 107 near Jacksonville Cutoff Road at a high rate of speed.
