Sherwood police beat



June 15

Timothy Simpson, 24, of Cabot was arrested on a charge of DWI after police observed a sports utility vehicle traveling northbound on Brockington Road at a high rate of speed.

June 20

Cederic Lewis, 24, of Sherwood was arrested on charges of fleeing, failure to pay registration, improper use of a license plate suspended driver’s license and no proof of insurance after police observed a vehicle with expired tags headed eastbound on Wildwood Avenue.

June 24

Jeremy Burnett, 31, of North Little Rock was arrested on a charge of shoplifting after police received a report of a shoplifting in progress at the Wal-Mart Supercenter on Arkansas 107.


June 22

Police responded to Shipley’s Donuts of Arkansas in reference to a private property accident. Officers made contact with Deborah Stewart of Sherwood who stated she was backing out from a parking space and thought it was clear. She said her vehicle struck the vehicle of Karla Maley of Sherwood in the passenger side. Stewart’s Ford XPL sustained $1,500 of damage while Maley’s Honda CIV had $2,800 of damage.

Lacey Battisto of North Little Rock said that an unknown vehicle struck her Toyota Corolla at the Wal-Mart Supercenter, causing $500 of damage. Her vehicle had a large scuff mark along the front bumper.

Warren Nance, 30, of Sherwood was arrested on a charge of public intoxication after police saw a man stumbling on the sidewalk and grass along Brockingon Road.
