Police responded to the Sherwood National Carwash on Sherer Drive in reference to a motor vehicle accident. Laci Arum of Sherwood said she was traveling southbound in the left turn lane of Brockington Road near its intersection with Kiehl Avenue when the passenger side mirror of her 2006 Ford E350 impacted the driver’s side outside mirror of a stopped vehicle in the southbound lane of Brockington. The stopped vehicle was owned by Caroline Pockrus of Austin who said she was waiting to cross onto Brockington when the impact hit her 2007 Chevrolet Suburban, resulting in $100 of damage her her vehicle. Arum was found at fault for the accident but was not issued a citation.
Austin McClane of North Little Rock said while he was at work at the Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market on Arkansas 107 someone struck his 2005 Honda Accord while it was parked, causing $600 of damage to the front bumper and right-front quarter panel.
Kayla Alderman of North Little Rock and Emma Sandefur of Sherwood reported being involved in a minor accident in the parking lot of the Wal-Mart Supercenter on Arkansas 107, resulting in $300 of damage to both Alderman’s 2004 Honda Accord and Sandefur’s 2007 Grand Marquis. Both women told police they were backing out of parking spaces when the collision resulted.
Jessica Milby of Cabot said she was traveling southbound on Brookswood Drive at Warden Road in her 2008 Nissan Sentra behind a 2011 Ford truck driven by Donald Michalis of Palestine. Milby said she applied her brakes but her vehicle slid on the wet pavement and impacted the trailer hit of the truck. Milby’s vehicle sustained $400 of damage. She was found at fault for following too close.
William Frazier, 40, of Sherwood was arrested on charges of DWI and prohibited/careless driving after police observed him not use his turn signal when there was oncoming traffic at the East Kiehl Avenue Oakhaven Street intersection.
Darren Wilkins, 47, of Sherwood was arrested on charges of possession of drugs (marijuana), possession of drug paraphernalia and DWI after police received a call about an erratic driver in the area of the Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market on Arkansas 107.
Alfonso Cruz, 22, of North Little Rock was arrested on a charge of DWI after police responded to Tailgaters on Warden Road in reference to a possible disturbance.
