Sept. 16

Dicky Jones of Sherwood said his trailer and business equipment had been stolen sometime during the night. Jones said the $10,000 trailer was taken as well as $8,000 pressure washer.

Arthur Anderson of Sherwood said while his vehicle was parked in the driveway someone stole his wallet which had several forms of identification, credit cards and a small amount of cash.

Sept. 15

Yvone West, 8001 Langer Road Apt. A, told police he arrived home at about 11 p.m., went back out to his vehicle the next morning to grab a bag. He said his vehicle was left unlocked and his bag and Ipad were missing.

Robert Henschel, 3442 Kiehl Ave. Apt. 4209, said someone stole his uncle’s trailer. He was told by police that the trailer had been recovered earlier and was located at GT Wrecker Service.

Sept. 14

Jennifer Caraway, 16 Petty Lane, said someone during the night went into her unlocked vehicle and stole her billfold which contained her driver’s license, Social Security card, checkbook and a credit card.

Accidents

Jesus Lopez of Little Rock said he was turning into the parking area of Gander Mountain on Landers Road when his 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse slid into another vehicle and sustained $300 worth of damage to the front driver’s bumper area. His vehicle struck the 1993 Buick of Jerry Jacks of Pine Bluff whose car sustained $500 of damage. Lopez was found at fault for the accident and was issued citations for having no driver’s license and no proof of insurance.

Sept. 15

Gary Manor of Searcy said he was in his 2010 Nissan Murano reversing in the parking lot of Sams Club, 5600 Landers Road, at the front of the store to load groceries. Manor said he did not see a cement post in his rearview mirror and struck the post, causing his vehicle $500 worth of damage as well as $500 of damage to the post.

Sept. 14

Frederick Vick of North Little Rock said he was driving his 1998 Chevy van when he turned right from Wildwood Avenue to Country Club Road. The truck behind him driven by Eric Wolfe of Sherwood had been tail gaiting him when he stopped on the roadway and Wolfe’s vehicle struck him from the back.

Jasmine Williams, 1300 Chesterfield St., said she left home at about 7 a.m. and returned at about 10:42 p.m. and noticed the back yard door to the garage open. She looked close and noticed the door frame had been broken and thought someone had broken in. A later look revealed the wall to the left of the door was pushed outward and officers could see grass from the yard where the wall was off the foundation. There were also two marks about six inches apart and a scuff line at the same height on the wall. The two marks had paint removal.

Police looked at the front of Williams’ 2007 Dodge Durango and the paint job matched the wall color. There was also a scuff on the front bumper on the Durango. Williams said she did not realize she hit the wall, which resulted in $2,500 worth of damage to the wall.

Alvin Henderson of Little Rock was traveling through the parking lot of the Indianhead Shopping Center near Cash for Gold when a vehicle exited Warden Road onto the parking lot and impacted the driver’s side of the front bumper of his 2002 Ford F-250. Leonard Granby of Jacksonville said he entered the parking lot when a truck pulling a utility trailer impacted the driver’s side of his vehicle. Granby’s 2012 Toyota sustained $500 of damage while Henderson’s vehicle had $200 of damage.

Arrests

Sept. 14

Mallory Weaver, 26, of Sherwood was arrested on charges of public intoxication and criminal trespassing after police were dispatched to 8901 Brockington Road Apt. C in reference to a woman trying to force her way into the residence.
