March 27

Juan Chacon of North Little Rock said he was driving northbound on Brookswood Drive approaching its intersection with East Kiehl Avenue when he struck a Honda driven by Megan Jones of Sherwood. Both vehicles sustained $400 of damage. Chacon was found at fault for the accident and was issued a citation for having no driver’s license and careless/prohibited driving.

April 1

Donya Thompson of Sherwood said she was backing out of a parking space at 107 Liquor in front of Arkansas 107 when her vehicle was stuck by another vehicle driven by Kristi Boles of Sherwood. Thompson’s vehicle had $100 of damage while Boles’ vehicle had $400 of damage.

April 2

Kyle Cruthis of Jacksonville stated he was driving at Jacksonville Cutoff Road and Arkansas 107 when an unknown driver struck his 2013 Kia from behind, causing $600 of damage. No injuries were reported.

April 5

Sandra Singleton of Jacksonville said she was at the light at the intersection of Brockington Road and Kiehl Avenue when her vehicle was struck in the rear bumper by another vehicle driven by James Lamb of Sherwood. Lamb’s vehicle sustained $300 of damage while Singleton’s vehicle had $500 of damage. Lamb was found at fault for the accident but was not issued a citation.

Arrests

March 28

Michael Boles, 28, of North Little Rock was arrested on charges of no proof of insurance, false evidence of registration and failure to pay registration fee after police conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Hillcrest Drive and Farris Avenue.

Gerald Tayborn, 52, of North Little Rock was arrested on charges of theft of property and fleeing after police observed a man walking in the middle of the eastbound lane in the intersection of Rixie Road and Kiehl Avenue.

March 29

Jana McMahan, 43, of North Little Rock was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine with the purpose to deliver (C Felony), possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and introduction of prohibited articles. The arrest came after her vehicle was stopped when it had no working headlights on Arkansas 107 near Jacksonville Cutoff Road.

Joseph Straw, 55, of North Little Rock was arrested on a charge of shoplifting after police responded to the Wal-Mart Supercenter on Arkansas 107 after receiving a report of a shoplifter in custody.

March 31

Matthew McCullar, 30, of Benton was arrested on a charge of public intoxication after police were dispatched to the area of Ridgelea Drive and Brockington Road in reference to a suspicious man knocking on the door at 604 Ridgelea.

Bryan Kristena, 25, of North Little Rock was arrested on charges of DWI, careless/prohibited driving, no seat belt and failure to register vehicle after police responded to the area of Roundtop and Trammel roads after receiving a report of a one-vehicle accident.

April 4

Serena Manes, 43, of Sherwood was arrested on charges of DWI, failure to dim lights and speeding 48 mph in a 40 mph zone after police were dispatched to Kiehl Avenue near Rising Star Church in regards to an intoxicated driver in the area.

Jordon Guff, 22, of North Little Rock was arrested on a charge of obstructing governmental operations after police stopped his vehicle on Arkansas 1-7 because the vehicle appeared to have a tire falling off.

Gayla Morales, 49, of England was arrested on a charge of shoplifting after police received a report of a shoplifter in custody at Kohl’s Department Store on Warden Road.
