March 20

Earline Lewis of Sherwood said she was trying to turn southbound onto Warden Road from Wildwood Avenue, didn’t see any traffic traveling southbound on Warden when the front bumper of her GMC Yukon collided with the rear bumper of a Toyota Camry driven by Caroline Grant of Sherwood. Grant’s vehicle sustained $800 of damage while Lewis’ vehicle had $100 of damage. Lewis was found at fault for the accident for following too close. No citations were issued.

March 19

Kristen Moseley of Sherwood said she was driving her 2003 Chevy Malibu at the Wildwood Avenue post office, 2300 Wildwood Ave., She was waiting to exit, pulling onto Wildwood. When Moseley back up, the rear bumper of her vehicle hit the front bumper of a 2001 GMC Yukon driven by Bryan Barger of Sherwood. Barger’s vehicle sustained $500 of damage.

Margaret Burton of Sherwood said she was backing out of her driveway at 601 Burntwood Court. She said a neighbor distracted her and it resulted in her striking the vehicle of Raweya Rahman of Sherwood. Burton’s vehicle sustained $150 of damage while Rahman’s vehicle had $600 of damage.

March 12

Blayne Pugh of Sherwood said he was traveling eastbound on Kiehl Avenue when another vehicle driven by Roberto Rodriguez of Jacksonville exited from a private drive, striking his vehicle’s passenger door area. Pugh said he swerved to avoid the impact. Police observed a scratch mark along the passenger side area. Rodriguez told police he was exiting the private drive onto Kiehl Avenue and made a wide turn due to pulling a trailer, which caused his 2011 Dodge 150 to strike Pugh’s 2007 Ford vehicle. Pugh’s vehicle had $300 of damage. Rodriguez was found at fault for the accident and was issued citations for failure to yield from a private drive and no driver’s license.

Arrests

March 19

Deon Stubbs, 44, of North Little Rock was arrested on a charge of public intoxication after police discovered him laying down in the police department lobby in a fetal position.

Marcus Woods, 31, of Little Rock was arrested on a charge of public intoxication after police responded to the Sherwood County Clerk’s Office in reference to an intoxicated man causing a disturbance.

March 18

Matthew Emerson, 25, of Sherwood was arrested on charges of failure to pay registration, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. During the same incident Jenna Roy, 18, of Sherwood was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. The arrests came after police stopped their vehicle near the intersection of Arkansas 107 and Kiehl Avenue because the vehicle tag expired in November 2012.

March 11

Jonah Rogers of Sherwood was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. The arrest came after police were dispatched to T-Ricks Gas Station in reference to a suspicious person hanging around the store in a silver Jeep.

Rosales Lucretcia, 39, of Sherwood was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance possession of drug paraphernalia in the area of Merriwood Court and Merriwood Plaza following an accident. His Nissan sustained $100 of damage. Police recovered from the scene a brown bottle with yellow top containing cocaine residue, a clear bottle containing white powder and a purple straw.

Melissa Jenson, 28, of Jacksonville was arrested on a charge of DWI after police saw a white 2001 Lexus RX3 parked in the center of Stonehenge Street.
