Police asking for help in Sherwood, Jacksonville service station armed robberies

At approximately 12:44 a.m., on Sunday, May 4, a robbery occurred at the Shell Superstop on Warden Road in Sherwood. Available video depicts the suspect wearing a sock on his right hand, a reversed black and yellow hoodie with the word “Trojans” embroidered on the chest, and brandishing a semi-automatic handgun of unknown caliber. As the suspect fled the scene, he ran to a waiting vehicle of unknown description, parked on 67/167 Southbound. In the late evening hours of May 4, another robbery occurred in Jacksonville under similar circumstances, which lead investigators to believe the two crimes may be related.
