Police Alumni Association plans car wash

On Saturday, the members of Sherwood Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association will host their annual Car Show/ Swap Meet at Sherwood Forest.

The public is invited to attend. This will be a fundraiser with the proceeds going to help in assisting with the special needs of the city police department.

Michael Crim, SCPAA president, said, “Some of our past projects include vests for the K-9’s, GPS systems purchased for the detectives working in our Warrant Division, and a drug drop box. As graduates of the Sherwood Citizens Police Academy and as members of the local community, we are dedicated to helping improve the quality of life through support of our police department, and its interactions with businesses, citizens and other organizations.”

Crim said the association is asking North Little Rock Moose Lodge No 942 to partner with it in achieving its goals by making a donation to this event.
