Arrests

Oct. 31

Steven Miller, 42, of Jacksonville was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine/cocaine with the purpose to deliver, possession of a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence, obstructing governmental operations, carrying a knife as a weapon and forgery after police stopped his vehicle at the Wildwood Phillips 66 station during a traffic stop where he was found with a plastic bag with a white powdery substance.

Nov. 5

Jermena Jordan, 27, of Sherwood was arrested on a charge of third-degree domestic battery after police were called to his home at 8402 E. Woodview Road, Apt. A, in reference to a domestic disturbance.

Anthony Boykin, 35, of Jacksonville was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after police stopped his Chevrolet Avalanche at the Big Red Fina gas station because he had a broken brake light.

Clayton Williams, 27, of Sherwood was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after police stopped his vehicle at the North Quarter Apartments on Brockington Road because of a traffic violation.

Emily Walker, 34, of Jacksonville was arrested on a charge of DWI after police observed her northbound vehicle on Arkansas 107 at Kelso Road possess a broken rear taillight.

Johnnie Miller, 52, of Sherwood was arrested on charges of DWI, no insurance, improper turn and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle after police observed him traveling at a high rate of speed on East Kiehl Avenue.

Nov. 6

Butte Mohammad, 29, of Little Rock was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended license, running a red light, expired vehicle tags and no proof of insurance after police saw him go through a red light on East Kiehl Avenue near Arkansas 107.

Alicia Bartlett, 24, of Jacksonville was arrested on charges of DWI (drugs), failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and speeding after police observed her vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed on Trammel Road at the Roundtop Station.

Nov. 7

Brandon Scott, 18, of Sherwood was arrested on charges of public intoxication, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, obstructing government operations and second-degree assault after police responded to the area of 611 Beaconsfield Road in reference to a man harassing a female and making obscene gestures towards her.

Accidents

Nov. 5

Edward Walker of North Little Rock said he was pulling into a handicapped parking spot when he struck a concrete pole, causing an undetermined amount of damage.

Sherrille Grimes of North Little Rock said she was turning into the parking lot area of Gander Mountain from Landers Road and slid into another vehicle driven by Charles Wilson of Hazen. Grimes’ vehicle sustained $1,000 of damage while Grimes’ vehicle had $500 of damage. Grimes was deemed to be at fault for the accident. No citations were issued.

Laconda Hart of North Little Rock said she had struck a deer, causing $250 worth of damage to her Toyota Camry. The accident took place along Arkansas 107 near Landscape Specialties.

Nov. 6

Brittany Fulton of North Little Rock said she was behind Francis Stacy of Jacksonville near the intersection of the Kiehl Loop and Warden Road waiting to merge onto Warden when her vehicle struck the rear of Stacy’s vehicle. Fulton’s vehicle sustained $100 of damage while Stacy’s vehicle had $300 of damage. Police found Fulton to be at fault for the accident.

Incidents

Nov. 5

Kacee Walters of Sherwood said he saw a deer crossing Arkansas 107 along the 14000 block. Police reported that the deer could not move its rear legs and was struggling to get over a curb. A police officer shot the deer and drug it off the roadway.

Denise Blanton of North Little Rock said she found a black wallet at the Big Red Fina gas station located at the corner of Kiehl Avenue and Brockington Road.

The wallet was owned by Jashunn Edmond of Little Rock but police were unable to locate him to return his wallet so it was placed into the department’s evidence locker.
