Volunteers sought for Sherwood liter indexing

Keep Sherwood Beautiful announces it will conduct a community awareness index on Friday. The indexing will start at 2 p.m. at the Bill Harmon Recreation Center.

After meeting at the center, groups will get into their cars, do litter indexing in different Sherwood neighborhoods, and then return to the center.

“We will be no more than an hour if that long,” said Betty Barnhardt, executive director of Keep Sherwood Beautiful. “This is a requirement to maintain our certification.”

Barnhardt said Keep Sherwood Beautiful is seeking volunteers to help with the indexing.
