Sherwood man arrested on felony counts of communicating false alarms at city schools

The Sherwood Police Department has arrested a Tyler A. Hansen, 29, of Sherwood on two felony counts of communicating a false alarm as a result of an investigation into a reported gunman incident at the Sylvan Hills High School and a bomb threat at the Sylvan Hills High School, both on Feb. 18.

According to a press release issued Tuesday by the police department, the investigation of both incidents resulted in a search and seizure warrant of Hansen’s vehicle being executed during the evening of Feb. 18. After further investigation, felony arrest warrants were issued and served on Hansen at the Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility where he is being held on unrelated charges.
