Children’s activity sheets on Sherwood history now available

The Sherwood History and Heritage Committee is making available two children’s activity sheets about the history of Sherwood. The first page features a picture of our city’s mascot, Robin Hood, that kids can color. On the back of the page, are fun facts about the city. The other sheet features a colorable image of Sherwood’s historic Roundtop Filling Station, with information about its history on the back.

These are available at no cost to Sherwood school teachers/administrators or leaders/teachers of a children’s group or organization in Sherwood.

Those interested should e-mail their request to Darrell W. Brown at Please include your contact information, your school or organization, and how many copies of each page you want.

The SHHC hopes this will be a fun and interesting way to expose the community’s young people to the city’s rich history and its historic landmarks.

The North Little Rock Times, Sherwood Voice, Maumelle Monitor, and Jacksonville Patriot websites are available only to print and digital subscribers. If you are already a subscriber, you can access these websites at no additional charge.
