The Sherwood Soccer Club held its annual fund-raising carnival where $3,146 was collected which supporters say would have been better if it had not been for the rainy weather.

The 2012 Fall Season has 264 children with plenty of room to grow. Sherwood Soccer Club accepts all children even if they have disabilities.

The club was formed three years ago and has increased players in excess of 30 percent.per year.

The club’s next fundraiser will be held on Oct. 13. and will be the annual walk. This year, it will begin at Clinton Elementary school and proceed up Keihl Ave. to the police station. A great turnout is expected and if anyone is interested in supporting the club they are invited to walk with club members. You can get more information by calling 501-514-0967.
