North Little Rock evened its conference record to 2-2 and 11-6 overall as the Cats beat Jonesboro on Friday night, but turned around and lost to Searcy on Tuesday.

Both games were played at North Little Rock’s Smalltel Arena.

In the first game, North Little Rock showed a mix of inside muscle and athleticism on the wing in a 73-38 rout of Jonesboro.

Five players scored at least 10 points as senior guard Dajha Hardamon led the way with 16 points.

On Tuesday night, Searcy held on for the 68-65 win.

Searcy is now 13-4 overall and 3-1 in the 7A/6A East.

Sophomore guard Kyra Collier led North Little Rock with 16 points.

North Little Rock plays at Marion on Friday night.
