North Little Rock head football coach Brad Bolding will accompany a pair of his players to All-Star week in Conway.

Friday’s game will have a Gary Vines and Gerald Watson playing for the East with Bolding coaching on the sideline.

“It’s an honor,” Bolding said, “and it’s a reflection of our program.”

Vines will play free safety while Watson will play on the defensive line.

Both were part of a team that finished unbeaten in the 7A/6A-East to capture a league title. The Charging Wildcats lost to Fayetteville in the semifinals.

North Little Rock is no stranger to fielding honors to the 2012 team that featured the state’s top running back, Altee Tenpenny who signed with Alabama.

Vines signed a letter of intent to play football for OBU, and was an instrumental reserve in North Little Rock’s state championship basketball team.
