Sandy Sanders

Sandy L. Sanders, 65, of North Little Rock died Monday, April 1, 2013. He served in the United States Army in Vietnam and was a Purple Heart recipient. He attended First United Methodist Church and Lakewood Methodist Church in North Little Rock. He was a retired Sales Representative and a founding member of the Non-profit Organization, Friends of Recovery.

He was preceded in death by his son, Judson Lee Sanders; and father, Ike Sanders.

Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Gale Endsley Sanders; daughters, Cindy Richardson and husband Bobby and Carmen Smith and husband Lance all of North Little Rock; grandchildren, Christina Williams and Marlee Richardson; mother, Joyce Sanders; brother, Gill Sanders both of Alpena; sister, Nancy Williams of Goodlettesville, Tenn.; and other extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held 10 a.m., Friday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, a Smith Family Funeral Home. Burial will be in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery The family will receive friends from 6-8 to p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
