Ruby Cartwright

Ruby Jewell Tackett Cartwright, 93, of Sherwood died Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013. She was born to F. D. and Sennie Evelyn Hale Tackett in Ada Valley. She was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, W.O. Cartwright; granddaughter, Kimberly Lieggi; sisters, Pearlie Young, Flossie Epperson, Georgia Renfroe, Gladys Snyder, Pauline Thomas; and brother, Paul Tackett.

Survivors include sons, Norman “Skip” Cartwright, Kenneth Cartwright and wife Billie and Philip Cartwright; daughter, Patricia Lieggi and husband Joseph; grandchildren, Tobie Cartwright Jost and husband Mike, and Brad Cartwright and wife Angela; great-grandchildren, Ty Morris, Presley Morris, Kade Cartwright and Henry Jost; and a host of friends.

A funeral service was held Saturday, Aug. 10 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, with Brother Jim Smith officiating. Burial followed at Liberty Cemetery, Adona. The family received friends Friday, August 9 at the funeral home.
