Lula Williamson

Lula Alice Harrold Williamson, of North Little Rock, died Sunday, June 16, 2013.

She was born May 24, 1918 in DeWitt County, Ill. to Ira Otis Harrold and Lula Alice Prevatt Faber. She was a member of Lakewood United Methodist Church at the time of her death. She worked for North Little Rock School District as a secretary, retiring in 1987. She has been an active member of Beta Alpha Chapter, Chi Sigma Sorority Inc., since 1988.

She was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Harrold Williamson; and daughter, Dr. Anna Marie Rago.

Survivors include sons, James Franklin Williamson and wife Aylma of El Dorado, Neill Williamson of Fayetteville; six grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

The family requests donations be made to the UAMS Research Center for Breast Cancer, 4301 W. Markham, Slot #623F, Little Rock, AR 72205, 526-2277. Checks should be made out to Cancer Institute Foundation; or the National Kidney Foundation, Finance Dept., 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday at Pinecrest Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors at the family home in North Little Rock immediately following the service.
