Lemmie Maddox

Lemmie Rose Ivey Maddox, 69, died Wednesday, April 24, 2013. She was born in North Little Rock on Aug. 18, 1943. She retired from the J.C. Penney Company. She was a member of North Pulaski United Methodist Church in Gravel Ridge.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Levadell Copeland Ivey and Willie Edward Ivey; husband of 51 years, Donald Lee Maddox, Sr.; brother, Michael Ivey; and sisters, Janice Johnson and Euleda Wooten.

Survivors include sons, Donald Lee Maddox, Jr., and wife Karenanne of Jacksonville, John William Maddox and wife Sandy of Sherwood; grandsons, Donald Lee Maddox III of Bossier City, La.; Dustin Maddox of Cabot, Michael, Blake and Ethan Maddox of Sherwood; two great-granddaughters; one great-grandson; sister, Mary Alice McDonald.

A funeral was held Monday, April 29 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Pinecrest Memorial Park, Alexander.
