Jimmy Edward Wiles, 53, of Plano, Texas, died Aug. 12, 2013. He was born in Little Rock, Oct. 31, 1959, to Thomas and Betty Wiles of Greenbrier.
He retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company in Little Rock after 30 years of service. After retirement, he enjoyed traveling, landscaping, wood projects, and time with family and friends. He especially loved spending time with his corgies, Chuck and Louie. Jim was very active in caring for the elderly and serving in his community.
Survivors include his parents, Thomas and Betty Wiles of Greenbrier; partner, Tom Wiesle of Plano, Texas; sisters, Beverly Cooper of Russellville and Donna Griffin and husband Randy of North Little Rock; brother, Steve Wiles and wife Deanna of Conway; nieces, Kristen Bagby and husband Tom of Durham, N.C., Ellen Westerman and husband Chris and Anna Beth Dickson and husband Joshua of Conway; nephew, Kent Wiles and wife Sarah of Forney, Texas; and great nephews, Nate and Lincoln Westerman; and a host of friends.
A memorial service was held Saturday, Aug. 17 at the North Little Rock Funeral Home.
