Hazel Whatley

Hazel Geneva Peel Whatley, 85, of Little Rock died Tuesday, April 9, 2013. She was retired from Ft. Roots after 27 years of service and was a member of First Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Henry Peel and Emma Lou Sandusky Peel French; granddaughter, Jenifer Marie McQuerry; and brother, Bobby Eugene French.

Survivors include her husband, Earl Whatley; daughters, Brenda Hicks and husband Allen and Delores Casey and husband Larry; son, Steven Paul McDonald; grandson, Charles Wayne Hicks; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

A funeral will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, April 13, 2013 at North Little Rock Funeral Home, a Smith Family Funeral Home. Burial will be at Pinecrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
