Graydon L. Brown, 87, of North Little Rock died Tuesday, June 18, 2013.
He was born April 23, 1926 in Bee Branch to Clarence Earl and Rosa Lee McKnight Brown.
He was a World War II veteran having served on the USS California in the battles of Leyte, Surigae, Liugayan Gulf and Okinawa. He was a charter member of Trinity United Methodist Church in North Little Rock. He was an electrician by trade and also served as plant manager of KC Baking Powder for many years.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Betty Goad Brown; sons, Paul Brown and wife Pattie of Cabot, Don Brown and wife Dell of Sherwood and Joe Brown and wife Becky of Flower Mound, Texas; grandchildren, Paul, Mikala, Lisa, David, Whitney and Sami; and ten great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held Monday, June 24, at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock with Rev. Jerry Meeks and Rev. Jeanie Burton officiating.
