Francs Rodman

Frances L. Richards Plummer Rodman, 91, of North Little Rock died Monday, April 8, 2013. She was born on April 29, 1922, to Jake and Maggie Richards in North Little Rock.

She was a lifetime member of Levy United Methodist Church of which her parents were founding members. She was a member of Aldersgate and McHughes Sunday School Classes, Women’s Circle, Quilting Bees, S.O. S. and United Methodist Women. She volunteered in her children’s schools and was very active in her sons and daughters lives serving as Den Mother and Scout Leader.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, John Kieser Plummer and Adelbert “Deb” Rodman; an infant son; daughter, Christina Plummer Carpenter; grandson, Richard Kieser “Kip” Plummer; granddaughter, Trina Carpenter Mount; and brother, Charles Richards.

Survivors include daughter, Mary Carol Horne and husband Don; sons, Richard Plummer and wife Doris, John D. Plummer and wife Sandy, Ronald “Lewie” Plummer and wife Brenda, Michael Plummer and wife Annie, William “Billy” Plummer; fourteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; brother, Bill Richards; sisters, Mary Ellen Dillon and Carolyn Jones; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be held at 1 p.m., today at Levy United Methodist Church, 701 W. 47th Street, North Little Rock. Burial will be at Edgewood Memorial Park.
