Ellouise Sylvester

Ellouise E. Sylvester, 95, of North Little Rock, died Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013. She was born in Benton on July 26, 1918 to Galen and Mattie Carter. She was a Sunday school teacher for over 50 years at the First Baptist Church in North Little Rock. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ervin Sylvester; daughter, Judy Moody; and granddaughters, Karen and Rebecca.

Survivors include son, Gene Sylvester and wife Joy of Germantown, Tenn; grandchildren, Michelle Boren and Galen Sylvester; great-grandchildren, Brittney and Blake; and cousin, Jimmie Stitt of Benton.

A graveside service was held Wednesday, Aug. 14 at the Concord Cemetery in Lonoke.
