Don Adams

Don Wayne Adams, 62, of Sherwood died Sunday, May 19, 2013. He was born October 14, 1950, in Stuttgart, to James Buiel Adams and Mary Charlene Dilday Adams. He was a Vietnam Air Force Veteran, Certified Public Accountant for the IRS, former owner of his own CPA practice, and a member of Victory Missionary Baptist Church in Sherwood.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister-in-law, Lovean Harris; brother-in-law, J. C. Maddox; and nephews, Denard Chism and James Maddox.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Jannie (McGlothlin) Adams; brother, Ricky Adams and wife Telesha of Heber Springs; sister, Loretta Solida and husband Jimmy of Heber Springs; sister-in-laws, Mary Maddox, Juanita Chism and husband Bernard and Essie May and husband Glen of Houston; brother-in-law, William McGlothlin and wife Pat of Marked Tree; nieces, Angie Copus and husband Billy of Searcy, Janet Cresswell and husband Scott, and Brandi Wilson and husband Zeke of Heber Springs, Joyce Crabb of Rockford, Ill., Mariless Strandlund and Sandra Adams and husband Bruce of Perryville, Rhonda Rankin and husband Jimmy, Rebecca Fraizer and husband James, and Teresa Prince of Houston, Karen Gonzalez and husband Fernando of College Station, Texas; nephews, Rusty Adams of Heber Springs, Rodney Harris and wife Debbie of Tyronza, Carroll Chism and wife Kelley of Morrilton, Bill McGlothlin and wife Tina of Germany; and numerous great nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

A funeral service was held Wednesday, June 5 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel in North Little Rock, with Bro. Tom Hart officiating. Burial will follow at Arkansas State Veterans’ Cemetery with Military Honors.
