Betty Gadberry Elder

Betty Gadberry Elder, 87, of North Little Rock, died Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2013.

Betty was born in Enola (Faulkner County) on Jan. 13, 1926 to Jesse Frank and Alice Anthony Gadberry.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Jim Elder; brothers, Grady, Brady, Dee, Ansel, and Lowell Gadberry; sisters Icie White, Mattie Garner, LaRue Blair, Radine Shock, Estella Shaw, and Wanda Gadberry; and niece Geraldine Boultinghouse.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan Elder of Little Rock; nieces and nephews: Bobbie Brannon, Tom Gadberry and wife Anna), Vauda Wilson and husband Glen, Bill White and wife Judy, Jim Gadberry and wife Charlotte, Sam Blair, Mary Ann Sixta and husband Dave, Sandra Aleshire and husband George, Martha Gadberry and husband John, Anthony Gadberry and wife Jerri Lynn, Lowell Gadberry Jr and wife Susan, Brady Gadberry Jr. and wife Sarah, Jay Shock and wife Myra, Mary Shock, Frank Shaw and wife Paige, and Jack Shock; and sister-in-law Geraldine Gadberry.

Services were held Friday, Aug. 29 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, followed by interment at Crestlawn .
