Three Missouri males arrested in NLR armed robbery

On Sunday, July 22, at about 12:10 a.m., Terrence Verge was at 3624 JFK at the car wash, cleaning his vehicle when he was approached by a black male asking for directions. At that point another black male pulled a black pistol on him and they took his vehicle. The information was broadcast to patrol officers and moments later a patrol sergeant observed the stolen vehicle and the vehicle the suspects were using at the Exxon gas station at Pershing and Main streets. Officers apprehended the three suspects and arrested them for robbing Verge at gunpoint. The gun recovered was reported stolen out of Missouri. One of the suspects, a juvenile, was charged as an adult in this robbery.

The following suspects were arrested:

• Tavarious Lockett, 16, of Caruthersville, Mo. He has been charged as an adult on the offencss of aggravated robbery, theft of property (felony) and theft by receiving (misdemeanor);

• Judon Mayberry, 24, of Steele, Mo. He has been charged with aggravated robbery, theft of property (felony), and contributing to the delinquency of a minor (misdemeanor);

• Charlie Houston, 23, of Steele, Mo. He has been charged with aggravated robbery, theft of property (felony), contributing to the delinquency of a minor (misdemeanor), and theft by receiving (misdemeanor).
