Burglaries

March 22

United Rental, 4300 Stockton Drive, reported that a heavy duty lock was damaged when someone broke into the business and caused $85,000 worth of damage, including a $70,000 mini-excavator, $10,000 trailer and $5,000 jack hammer.

March 23

Josh and Lori Hines, 4221 Warden Road, reported someone broke into their residence by damaging a glass window. Upon entry, someone stole a $50 purse, $500 iPhone, debit card and driver’s license.

Morgan Jones, 508 W. Scenic Drive, reported $100 of damage was done to her wooden trim and lock on the front door when her home was broke into and upon entry stole three flat screen televisions valued at $1,400, a $200 video game console, $100 in game controllers and a $150 pair of Nike Jordon shoes, as well as 10 Nintendo Wii games worth $600.

March 24

Kristopher Allen Penn, 400 N. Palm St., reported someone broke into his home and stole a $500 50-inch television.

March 26

James Jackson, 5912 Lowrance Drive, reported someone broke into his home and stole eight shirts worth $320, two sweaters valued at $120, and his $4,000 coin and stamp collection.

Aggravated robberies

March 25

Oscar Mijangos, 19, and a 17-year-old juvenile male told police someone used a handgun to rob them at 1524 N. Orange St. where a $150 cell phone was stolen.
