North Little Rock investigating Burns Park suspicious device

On March 5, at approximately 10:13 a.m., North Little Rock Police Officers responded to a report of a suspicious device in Burns Park. A Park Ranger patrolling Burns Park noticed a suspicious device at the dead end of Catfish Drive. Little Rock Fire Department EOD (explosive ordinance disposal) responded to assist NLR Police Department with the removal of the suspicious device. The device will be processed by Little Rock Fire Department EOD to determine its origin and chemical makeup.

Burglaries

Feb. 20

Sohrang Chang, 13412 Hansfield Circle, told police someone stole a $600 water jug containing a mixture of coins and paper bills.

Andrea Harris, 1616 N. Sycamore Drive, said someone broke into her home and stole a $500 32-inch flat screen JVC television.
