North Little Rock police beat

Shooting death reported

On Oct. 9, at about 8:13 p.m. North Little Rock Police Officers responded to 5125 Velvet Ridge, Apt. 22, in regards to a shooting. Officers arrived at the location and located a black male at the entrance to the doorway of Apt. 22 with an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Baptist Springhill where he was pronounced deceased. The North Little Rock Investigations Division responded to the scene. The Investigations Division has interviewed several witnesses in relation to this incident. The victim was later identified as Aundrea Smith, 31.

Aggravated robberies

Oct. 4

Joshua Proctor, 30, told police someone used a shotgun at 6915 John F. Kennedy Blvd. to rob him of $400 in cash.

Oct. 6

Henry Lee Holmes, 46, told police he was robbed at 6711 Village Drive where someone took his $100 cell phone.

Oct. 9

Sheridan Mosley, 35, said a black male used a handgun to rob her at 1300 Main St. where $1,800 in cash was stolen.

Oct. 10

Alexander Needham, 22, told police someone robbed him at 2127 Main St. where he had $40 in cash and three $15 tablets stolen.

Burglaries

Oct. 5

Mark Glover,119 Galway St., said someone broke some of the glass at his home trying to break in; however, nothing was reported stolen.

Antoinette Pringle, 1104 Graham St., told police that $300 of damage was done to her door when someone broke in and stole $300 in cash.

Doris Bradley, 1704 N. Orange St., said $100 of damage was done to her door jamb when someone broke in and stole two $300 televisions.

Oct. 4

Mary Hardy, 1212 W. 25th St., told police $50 of damage was done when someone broke her window, broke in, and upon entry stole a $600 42-inch television.
