Burglaries

Sept. 14

Rita Watkins, 800 N. Poplar St., told police someone stole her canister containing 74 pills of Hydrocodone worth $100 and two prescription canisters of blood pressure medicine worth $100.

Glen Miller, 4832 Rogers St., said someone gained entry into his home and stole a $340 nine-millimeter handgun, $130 Ruger rifle, $400 .38-caliber revolver, $100 .20-gauge shotgun, $120 underwater camera, $190 chainsaw, $50 Motorola cell phone, $200 in change and a $500 laptop.

Sept. 15

Blanche Benson, 4801 Randolph Road, said someone broke into her home and stole a $700 47-inch television and $200 television.

Phyllis Jones, 970 W. Scenic Drive, said someone broke into her home and stole a $400 42-inch flat screen television.

Aggravated robberies

Sept. 13

The Bank of the Ozarks, 3640 Camp Robinson Road, reported a black male in his late 40s came into the branch with a handgun and stole an undisclosed amount of money. The man stood 5’7” and weight 170 pounds.

Rex Latouruette, 4305 Alma St., said someone stole his black bag valued at $10.

Sept. 17

Christopher Pounders, 23, said he was robbed at 2100 Main St. Nothing was reported stolen.
