June 8

Julia Dural, 2618 E. Second St., said someone broke in and stole five pre-1964 $1 coins worth $150, a $130 gas-powered weedeater, $300 in Ninetendo games, an $800 wedding ring, a $2,000 gold necklace, three PS 3 controllers valued at $220 and a $2,000 gold bracelet.

June 9

Robert East, 1800 N. Hazel Road, said someone broke in and stole a $1,200 58-inch flat-screen television and $800 46-inch flat-screen television.

Johnny Kohler, 7325 Arkansas Highway 70, said someone broke in and stole $500 in cash, a $100 cell phone and five medicine bottles worth $250.

Darrell Young, 412 Allen St., said someone caused $100 worth of damage to his door to gain entry and stole a $200 handgun and $40 in cash.

Chery Miles, 4815 E. McCain Blvd., said someone broke in and stole a $30 watch, a $60 watch, $20 in cash, a $45 purse, $500 worth of Zanex and a $35 duffel bag. Entry was gained by breaking her door frame, causing a $500 loss.

Asia Jones, 1801 Arrowhead Drive, Apt. AA, said someone broke in and stole her 42-inch television valued at $400 and a 42-inch Plasma television.

June 10

James Couch, 615 Mills St., said somebody gained entry into her home and stole $1,800 worth of electronic equipment and $280 worth of clothes.

James Cone Inc., 6101 John F. Kennedy Blvd., reported someone used bolt cutters to gain entry into the business and stole $100 worth of copper piping and $425 in saw blades.

June 11

Margarita Fasci, 3720 N. Sycamore St., said someone stole her $50 black purse from her house by breaking in the door, causing $100 worth of damage. A total of $100 in cash also was stolen.

Dazaray Lewis and Lakeia Warren, 1406 N. Sycamore St., reported someone broke into their residence and stole $400 worth of clothes and a $300 32-inch flat-screen television.

Taquara Bright, 709 N. Walnut St., said someone gained entry into her home and stole a $1,500 laptop computer, $350 25-inch flat-screen television and a $2,000 55-inch flat-screen television.

Full Counsel Metro Church, 1600 N. Maple St., reported someone broke into the church and stole a $700 music keyboard, a $100 power drill, a $600 television and a $50 DVD player.

June 12

Vanessa Conley, 1 Valerie Court, reported someone stole her $200 gold ring and $800 diamond cluster ring. Entry was gained through a house window, which sustained $100 of damage.

Courtney Duchane, 310 Water St., said someone broke in and stole a $1,000 42-inch flat-screen television and a $250 video game system.

Chicken King, 2704 MacArthur Drive, reported someone broke into the business but nothing was reported stolen.

Sherwood

Thefts

May 30

Ryan Petty of Sherwood said he lost or someone stole the motorcycle license to his 2005 Honda CBR 600 while he was at T-Ricks gas station in Gravel Ridge.

Robert Fedor of Sherwood said he walked off leaving his cell phone on a bench at the Wal-Mart Supercenter on Arkansas Highway 107. He returned later but discovered it missing.

June 2

Samir Sulleman of Sherwood said four unauthorized charges totaling about $1,500 were made to his checking account. He found out after he had been contacted by officials of his bank who asked him if he had made certain transactions.

Daniel Wallace of Sherwood said his 2003 Honda Accord was left unlocked when it was parked outside of his Grosvenor Drive home. He said someone broke into it and stole his prescription medication out of the glove box.

Amanda Reed of Sherwood of Sherwood said that sometime during the night someone had taken her $250 GPS unit from her vehicle, which had been parked outside of her Carnelian Street home.

Accidents

June 1

Krystal Romes of North Little Rock said she was backing out from a parking space at the Wal-Mart Supercenter on Arkansas Highway 107 when she struck a pickup truck being driven by Margaret Grisham of North Little Rock. Romes’ 1999 four-door sedan sustained $400 worth of damage while Grisham’s 1993 Silverado had $600 in damage.

Ted Walkup of Sherwood said he came outside of his South Clarmont Avenue home at about 3:30 p.m. and noticed a tan car had run over his mailbox, causing $100 worth of damage. There were tire marks on the curb going over the mailbox and back onto the road.

Tuan Huynh of Sherwood said he was leaving a garage sale near the intersection of Grove and Lake Tree streets when another vehicle driven by Gloria Tackett of Sherwood approached his vehicle. He said his vehicle had struck her vehicle. Tackett said she was at the garage sale when she had been notified that her car had been hit. She found $500 worth of damage to her car.

Incidents

June 1

Susan Tanner of Sherwood said she came out of her Whitewood Street home to set out her recycling bin and noticed that the passenger side window to her 2001 Honda Accord had been broken out, but nothing inside it had been disturbed. The estimated loss is $250.

Harry Maier of Sherwood said he woke up, went outside his Summer Shade home and noticed his parked 1996 Chevrolet vehicle had its rear window broken out.

June 3

James Elsasser of Sherwood said he went out to his vehicle which was parked outside his Holly Drive home, and discovered the rear glass of his 1985 Toyota Tercel had been shattered, resulting in a $100 loss. Police observed several small holes in the rear glass, which appeared to be caused by a BB or pellet.

Arrests

May 30

Darren Wilkins, 46, of Sherwood was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to a field sobriety test and driving left of center. The arrest took place after police received reports of an intoxicated person who had just left Money Tree Loans on East Kiehl Avenue and who was driving a small white car.

June 1

Jane Breite, 25, of Little Rock was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. During the same incident, Michael Lee, 30, of Sherwood was arrested on charges of obstructing governmental operations, second-degree battery, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. The arrests took place after police made a traffic stop on North Hills Boulevard at Arkansas Highway 107 near the Exxon gas station because the vehicle traveled left of center.

Arthur Davis III, 32, of West Helena was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated and reckless operation. During the same incident, Kristie Gay, 31, of Lonoke was arrested on a charge of public intoxication. The arrests took place after police observed his vehicle headed southbound on Brookswood Drive at a high rate of speed.

Demarcus White, 21, of Pine Bluff was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated (drugs), no turn signal, careless/prohibited driving and driving left of center after police observed him drive left of center as he headed southbound on Brookswood Drive.

Gary Book, 57, of Sherwood was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated and speeding after he was stopped by police who were running radar on Country Club Road and noticed him driving at a high rate of speed in his black Chevy Camaro headed eastbound.

Christopher Wilson, 26, of Sherwood was arrested on charges of possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and public intoxication after police were dispatched to the Wal-Mart Supercenter on Arkansas Highway 107 to respond to a report of an intoxicated person.

May 25

Tonya Putt, 35, of Jacksonville was arrested on charges of theft of property (shoplifting) and possession of a schedule IV controlled substance (marijuana) after police responded to a report of a shoplifting incident that took place at the Wal-Mart Supercenter in Jacksonville.

LaWayne Williams, 22, of Jacksonville was arrested on a charge of third-degree domestic battery after police responded to Jackson Square Apartments, 300 Hospital Ave., Apt. No. 706, in reference to a domestic disturbance.

Steven Lowe, 30, of Jacksonville was arrested on a charge of second-degree interference with an emergency communication after police were dispatched to his residence at 1310 Smithwick Drive, Apt. No. 10, in reference to an unauthorized use of a vehicle.

Kali Monica-Kutz, 19, of South Bend, Ind., was arrested on a charge of theft of property (shoplifting) after police responded to a report of a shoplifting incident that took place at the Wal-Mart Supercenter in Jacksonville.

Joshua West, 30 of Lonoke was arrested on a charge of criminal trespass after police responded to the Wal-Mart Supercenter in Jacksonville., where someone wanted to retrieve their bicycle.

May 26

Michelle Gaynor, 34, of Jacksonville was arrested on a charge of theft of property (shoplifting) after police responded to a report of a shoplifting incident that took place at the Wal-Mart Supercenter in Jacksonville.

Lauren Stroud, 28, of North Little Rock was arrested on a charge of theft of property (shoplifting) after police responded to a report of a shoplifting incident that took place at the Wal-Mart Supercenter in Jacksonville.

Rebecca Bostic, 33, of Jacksonville was arrested on a charge of theft of property (shoplifting) after police responded to a report of a shoplifting incident that took place at the Wal-Mart Supercenter in Jacksonville.

Bruce Carr, 54, of Mountain View was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct after police were dispatched to the scene of a hit-and-run accident at 2255 John Harden Drive. Carr said he had been struck by an unknown motorist while he was driving along Vanderberg Boulevard.

Lovern Lee, 48, of Jacksonville was arrested on charges of possession of crack cocaine with the purpose to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia after police conducted a traffic stop at 1200 Arkansas Highway 161 S.

Kevin Black, 34, of Jacksonville was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated, driving with a license suspended for driving while intoxicated and refusal to submit to a field sobriety test after police were dispatched to the area of Arkansas Highway 67/167 at the Little Rock Air Force Base exit in reference to a possibly intoxicated driver.

May 28

Dale Krizan, 49, of Jacksonville was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated — second offense, no driver’s license and driving left of center after police were dispatched to the area of 119 Joiner Avenue on the report of a possibly intoxicated driver.

Lindea Sims, 21, of Stuttgart was arrested on a charge of theft of property (shoplifting) after police responded to a report of a shoplifting incident that took place at the Wal-Mart Supercenter in Jacksonville.

Deshrae Moore, 21, of Jacksonville was arrested on a charge of theft of property (shoplifting) after police responded to a report of a shoplifting incident that took place at the Wal-Mart Supercenter in Jacksonville.
