Arrest made in apartment homicide

On Oct. 9 , at approximately. 7:47 p.m. North Little Rock Police Officers responded to 5125 Velvet Ridge, Apt. 22, in regards to a shooting. Officers arrived at the location and located a black male at the entrance to the doorway of Apt. 22 with an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Baptist Springhill where he was pronounced deceased. The North Little Rock Investigations Division responded to the scene and interviewed several witness in relation to this incident. The victim was later identified as Aundrea Smith, 31.

On Oct, 17, the North Little Rock Investigations Division obtained a warrant for Frankie Webb, 17, for his involvement in the homicide that occurred at 5125 Velvet Ridge on 10-9-2013. On that day, Frankie Webb was brought to the North Little Rock Police Department by his mother and turned himself in on this warrant. Webb was charged with Capital Murder and Aggravated Robbery and transported to Pulaski County Regional Intake with no bond.
