North Little Rock NAACP to host program Feb. 4

The North Little Rock Branch of the NAACP will host its annual Black History Program on Tuesday, Feb. 4 at 6 p.m. The event will be held at the Milestone Event Center located at 1418 Main St., North Little Rock, Arkansas. The theme is “Appreciating the Past, Recognizing the Present and Preparing for the Future.”

State Representative Eddie Armstrong, District 37, will bring Words of Encouragement to the group. Various individuals will be recognized for their significant contributions to the community.

A special candle lighting will be presented to reflect on those individuals who diligently served the North Little Rock NAACP and have passed on to a new land in Glory.

Eartha Dobbins is President of the branch and will serve as Chairperson for the event and Co-Chair will be Denicia Roberts.
