NLR seeks entries for Christmas parade

The 2013 North Little Rock Christmas Parade, scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 1, at 2 p.m., is encouraging clubs, organizations, schools, churches and businesses to participate.

“The annual Christmas parade brings the North Little Rock community together for the holidays,” said Ms. Sherry Bruno, project chair. “For local groups, it is an opportunity to be creative and engage with neighbors, church members and customers.”

The theme for this year’s parade is “Christmas Reflections,” and all entries are required to have entertainment appeal and be costumed or decorated. To receive an entry form, call the North Little Rock Visitors Bureau at 758-1424. All entry forms must be returned by Monday, Nov. 25 to be considered.

The parade is sponsored by the North Little Rock Sertoma Club, the North Little Rock Visitors Bureau and the City of North Little Rock.
