NLR to hold roundtable discussion regarding Hispanic crime victims

The public is invited to come to the North Little Rock Police Department Training Division, 2400 Division St., to participate in a round-table discussion regarding Hispanic victims of crime and their families on Tuesday, Aug. 27, from 9- 11 a.m.

“We hope to discuss issues and concerns that Hispanic crime victims may encounter as we look at how we can better serve those effected by crime,” said Charlene James, the city police department’s victim advocate. “Also, it will give us an opportunity to better identify services and network our efforts more efficiently.”

She added, “We will totally concentrate on the Hispanic community.”

Anyone having questions or comments should let James know by calling 812-2560.
