Lakewood Middle Schools students raise 10,632 cans of food for Amboy Food Pantry

The Lakewood Middle School Student Council held its annual food drive for the Amboy Food Pantry in North Little Rock. All second period classes at Lakewood Middle School competed against each other to see who could bring the most cans. This year’s top classes: Ms. Madar’s 7th grade class: 1,354 cans; Mrs. Richinson’s and Mrs. McMahan’s 7th grade class: 819 cans; and Ms. Padilla’s 8th grade class: 766 cans. A total of 10,632 cans were collected for the Amboy Food Pantry.
