Keep North Little Rock Beautiful announces non-profit status

Keep North Little Rock Beautiful, a local affiliate of Keep Arkansas Beautiful and Keep America Beautiful, announced today that is has been approved a 501(c)3 organization.

“As an official nonprofit, we can take advantage of more resources to raise awareness about litter prevention and to keep our city clean,” said Randy Naylor, the group’s Chairman.

The gorup also announced its new board positions for the year: Randy Naylor, Chairman; Daniel Guyton, Vice-Chairman; Ornett Grind, Treasurer; Lisa Smith, Secretary; Summer Toyne, Communications Director; Dauphne Trenholm, Grant Writer and Carol Crow, Special Events Coordinator

The group organizes a cleanup every fall in conjunction with Keep Arkansas Beautiful’s Great Arkansas Cleanup called the “Great Arkansas River Cleanup”. To register as an individual or group for this year’s event on Sept. 6, visit www.Facebook.com/KNLRB.
