Baptist Health Medical Center-North Little Rock has named four new members to its Community Advisory Committee.

The new members are Stephanie Dunn, president-elect Junior League of North Little Rock; Dr. Bob Harper, associate pastor, Parkhill Baptist Church, North Little Rock; Gene Kinsey, sales manager, Dean-Henderson Equipment Company, England; Steve Walters, pastor, Second Baptist Church, Jacksonville.

The purpose of the committeeis to enhance communication between the citizens of north central Arkansas and Baptist Health, explained Harrison Dean, senior vice president-regional hospitals and administrator of Baptist Health.

“The committee assists in planning as well as participates in community projects and they let us know how our hospital can better serve the total health needs of the community,” said Dean.

Other members of the committee are: Gary Canada, Bank of England; John Garner, executive director, Lonoke Area Chamber of Commerce; Quanisha McAllister, L’Oreal USA; and Tommy Miller, pastor, Union Valley Baptist, Beebe.

The committee usually consists of a total of 10 members, each agreeing to a two-year term. However, the committee currently has only eight members due to two people relocating outside of the central Arkansas area.
