Lau-Moore wed

Amanda Elise Lau and Scott Bradford Moore exchanged wedding vows at 6 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, at the Arkansas Arts Center officiated by Rev. Cindy Shaw Henry.

The bride given in marriage by her father wore an ivory strapless organza ball gown with beaded lace appliqued bodice pleated with a ruffled skirt and chapel train and 2 tier fingertip length ivory veil beaded scalloped edge with beaded flowers and sequins. She carried a clutch of purple hydrangeas, green orchids, purple veronica, purple and green roses, purple callas, blue delphinium and purple stock wrapped in copper ribbon.

Besty Lau of Reno, Nev., formerly of North Little Rock, sister of the bride served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Rachel Tope of Norman, Okla., and Lauren Jones of Alma. They wore deep teal oasis in styles of their own choosing and carried a bouquet of purple hydrangeas, purple and green roses and green berries.

Rhys Moore of Germantown, Tenn., brother of the groom served as best man. Groomsmen were Caleb Craig of Little Rock and Adam Matz of Collierville, Tenn.

Guests were seated by Erik Hertel of Grand Junction, Colo., and Josh Jones of Alma. Joe Snell on violin.

A reception followed at the Arkansas Arts Center. Music was provided by Joe Snell Central Arkansas Entertainment.

The bride is the daughter of Harry and Cindy Lau of North Little Rock. She is the granddaughter Ray and Margaret Hartley of North Little Rock. She is a 2004 graduate of North Little Rock High School, 2008 graduate of the University of Arkansas with a bachelors of science in hospitality, 2009 graduate of Culinary Institute of America at Greystone, St. Helena, Calf. with a baking and pastry certificate. She is employed as a general manager and decorator at Blue Cake Co.

The groom is the son of Craig and Terri Moore of Germantown, Tenn. He is the grandson of William and Dorothy Anderson of Mobile, Ala. He is a 2003 graduate of Houston High School in Germantown, Tenn., 2007 graduate of the University of Arkansas with a bachelors of science in biological engineering and 2012 graduate of University of Arkansas for Medical Science with a doctorate in pharmacy. He is employed as a pharmacist with Wal-Mart in Central Ark.

After a honeymoon trip Grand Hyatt Resort & Spa in Kauai Hawaii the couple will reside in Little Rock.
