Jennifer Hicks and Steven Fletcher exchanged vows at 4 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at Alda’s Magnolia Hill in Little Rock with bro. Tim McMinn officiating.
The bride given in marriage by her father wore an ivory satin strapless A-line dress with a lace-up back with a sweetheart neckline was embellished with pearls, rhinestones, crystal beading and lace with a chapel train accented with satin covered buttons and a ivory tulle veil. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of ivory roses, autumn flowers and curly willow stems tied using lace from her mother’s wedding gown.
Kria Milholland of North Little Rock served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jessica Thompson, Kara Carter both of Sherwood, Ashlee Brossard and Kristin Roberts both of North Little Rock.
Phillip Roberts of North Little Rock served as best man. Groomsmen were Tommie Jones of Sherwood, Kevin Fletcher of Sherwood, brother of the groom, Corey Gossett and Kenneth Hayden both of North Little Rock.
Guest were seated by Justin Hicks of Newnan, Ga., brother of the bride, Jonathan Hicks of Flowood, Miss., brother of the bride and Will McElrath of Little Rock. Beaux Fletcher of Sherwood, niece of groom, served as flower girl. Hunter Fletcher of Sherwood, nephew of groom, served as ring bearer. Gigi Arendt, Christi Arendt, Annie Arendt all of Houston, Texas, all cousins of the bride, and Meghan Gossett of North Little Rock served as attendants.
A reception followed at Alda’s Magnolia Hill in Little Rock. Music was provided by Central Arkansas Entertainment.
The bride is the daughter of Janet and Jimmy Hicks of Sherwood. She is the granddaughter of Barbara and William E. Arendt of North Little Rock and the late Mable and Dale Hicks formerly of Sherwood. She is a 2008 graduate of North Little Rock High School and 2012 graduate of the University of Central Arkansas with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She is employed with TLC Child Development Center as a Pre-K teacher.
The groom is the son of Terry and Judy Fletcher of Sherwood. He is the grandson of the late Mable and Floyd McClure formerly of DeValls Bluff and the late Leroy and Annamay Fletcher formerly of North Little Rock. He is a 2006 graduate of Sylvan Hills High School and attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He is employed with Specialized Delivery Service as a co-owner.
After a honeymoon trip to the Western Caribbean to Jamaica and Cozumel. The couple will reside in North Little Rock.
