Rachel Childers and Taylor Machen exchanged marriage vows Friday, May 18, 2012, at Park Hill Baptist Church in North Little Rock with Pastor Jim Smith officiating.
The bride given in marriage by her father, wore a strapless organza gown highlighted with ruching and ruffled trim and empire waist that featured beaded details.
Natanya Clark of Batesville served as the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Ashley Long of North Little Rock, Emma Ellis of Ruston, La., Marty McMurry of Banks and Katlyn Walthall of Bryant.
Dimode Rhee of Atlanta, Ga., served as best man. Groomsmen were Philip Childers of Sherwood, brother of the bride; Ryan Machen of Ruston, La., brother of the groom; Aaron Machen of Bryant, brother of the groom; and Jamie Dunn of Odessa, Fla., cousin of the groom.
Guest were seated by Mark Pichoff and Jeffery Pichoffof Bellechase, La., cousins of the groom; Kirsten Boyettof Winfield, La., cousin of the groom, served as flower girl. Bryson Guidry of Chalmette, La., nephew of the groom, served as the ring bearer.
The reception was held at Sherwood Forest. Scripture was read by Jordan Key of Scott. Soloist was Jean Marie Pichoff of Springdale, cousin of the groom. Madison Greenfield of Little Rock and Casey Dollar of Maumelle served as hostess and host.
The bride is the daughter of Camille and Donald Childers of Sherwood. She is the granddaughter of Bill and Phyllis Childers of Sherwood and Dorothy Capps of England. She is a junior at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro.
The groom is the son of Vicki and Donald Machen Jr. of Alexander. He is the grandson of Carol and Donald Machen Sr. of Seminole, Fla., and Doris Pichoff of Tylertown, Miss. He is a sophomore at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro.
After a wedding trip to Florida, the couple will live in Jonesboro.
