Abele-Cole wed

Candice Annie Abele and George B. Cole exchanged wedding vows at 6 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012 at Christ Episcopal Church.

The bride given in marriage by her father wore a dress of soft delicate beaded eyelash-lace over tulle, with an illusion halter V-neck and low V-back with a fitted mermaid silhouette. She carried a bouquet of blue hydrangeas, white roses, white ranunculus, blue delphinium, blue thistle, freesia and green berries.

Jennifer Harp Gomez and Elena Reyes Loyins both of Little Rock served as a bridesmaid. They wore floor length, strapless chiffon dresses with side ruching and a cascading front ruffle in horizon blue and carried a white version of the bride’s bouquet.

Paul Cole of Houston, Texas, brother of the groom served as best man. Kevin Haggard of Oklahoma City, Okla. served as groomsman.

Guest were seated by Robert Reedy of Little Rock and Christophe G. Abele of Atlanta, Ga., brother of the bride.

A reception followed at the Capital Hotel in Little Rock.

The bride is the daughter of Debra Roberts and Michael Abele and the late Beatrice Abele all of North Little Rock. She is the granddaughter of the late May and Cortland Peter Abele formerly of Amberg, Wis. and the late Raymonde and Charles Champelauvier of Paris, France. She is a 1998 graduate of Mount Saint Mary’s Catholic High School, 2002 graduate of Hendrix College with a bachelors in business and economics and 2003 graduate of Hendrix College with a masters in accountancy. She is employed with EGP, PLLC Certified Public Accountants & Consultants in North Little Rock as a CPA.

The groom is the son of George and Marjorie Cole of Oklahoma City, Okla. He is the grandson of the late Lambertus and Gertrude Bouws formerly of Holland, Mich., and the late Alva and Ethel Cole formerly of Weatherford, Okla. He is a 1985 graduate of Putnam City North High School and 1993 graduate of the University of Oklahoma. He is employed with Windstream Corporation in Little Rock.

After a honeymoon to St. Lucia, the couple will reside in Little Rock.
