Mary Shollmier, organist, and the choir she directs at Trinity Lutheran Church in North Little Rock will present several anthems at the church’s Holy Week services. The public is invited to come and listen to the music from the choir and join with the congregation in singing other songs, as all remember Jesus’ last days in his human body and celebrate the joyful resurrection of the Savior, who died that mankind might live eternally. Service times are as follows: Thursday, April 17, and Friday, April 18, both at 7 p.m.

One of Connie Straw’s solos will be on “Glorious Day” by Casting Crowns. Its lyrics take the listener through Jesus’ ministry, conviction, death and resurrection.

Then, on Easter Sunday, the will celebrate the risen Savior, first with a breakfast at 9 a.m. and then the children will have an Easter egg hunt at 9:45 a.m. Please contact the church and let them know if you wish to attend the free will offering breakfast. The worship service at 10:30 a.m. will give the public another chance to hear the choir along with the opportunity to give thanks and praise to the risen Savior.
