Students to

be in ballet

Four North Little Rock School District students will be performing in Arkansas Festival Ballet’s storybook ballet, “The Adventures of Pinocchio” at the Arkansas Arts Center Childrens Theater on the following dates:

Friday, May 17, 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, May 18, 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday, May 19, at 2 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased now.

Lakewood Elementary students Caroline Dean, Selah Havens, and Grace Pitts will be dancing in the ballet, along with senior NLRHS dancer Hannah Fender. Several NLRHS graduates will also be performing in this storybook ballet.

Choirs will present spring concert Tuesday

The North Little Rock High School Choirs, under the direction of Donna Gosser, will present their spring concert, “It’s Always a Good Time,” on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in the West Campus Auditorium. The concert will feature four choirs singing songs, both and new.

Tickets are $5 (children 5 years old and younger are free) and can be purchased from any choir member or can be reserved by calling the music office at 771-8130 or 831-2622.
