Roller Derby Girls to have pancake fundraiser Jan. 11

On Saturday, Jan. 11, Central Arkansas Roller Derby Girls will be delivering short stacks of pancakes from 7:30 to 10 a.m.at the 12110 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, location of Applebees.

The Roller Derby girls have members in Little Rock as well as the North Little Rock and Jacksonville areas.

Tickets are $7 per person and include pancakes and a beverage such as coffee, soda, milk, juice or tea.

Members of Central Arkansas Roller Derby take pride in supporting the community throughout the season by volunteering their time and a portion of the bout’s proceeds to organizations like Pulaski County Humane Society, Our House, the American Heart Association, Komen Arkansas and many, many more.

The next bout will be 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Access Schools. Bout will be held at Skate World, 6512 Mabelvale Cut Off in Little Rock. For more information about Central Arkansas Roller Derby or this event, go to www.littlerockrollerderby.com.
